Transience, Revisited.

Hi Guys. Writing a blog after ages. And new beginnings should always be special. So here is my insane attempt at peotry. Bouquets and Brickbats are welcome anytime :)

Also, I wrote this poem as a parallel to one written by my friend Ashwini ( she wants to advertise.... so here is her space  :) )  In case you are interested, the link is present in the side menu

Transience, Revisited.

Transience is but a mere flip of pages

A passing of seconds or a matter of ages

An epitome of the edificial Life

Where moribund euphemisms are rife

Transience is what may burgeon self doubt

To forget what life is actually about

To believe that other's judgment is stout

And that taming the free spirit is paramount

But fear not, for it is also the passing of ages

An achievement, a landmark of Life's different stages

It is also the ripening of fruits, the change of seasons

A charade to understand that what you do, demands no dogmatic reasons

Although there are eyes which will judge you bluntly today

There will be eyes which will look for acknowledgement from you someday

Although there are faces today, which demand for you to be a follower

There will be faces someday, asking for you to be the leader

New faces and eyes will look to you for advice

Your virtues will then be respected, not treated as vice

Time will pass and Transience shall again set

But your voice shall be heard now as wisdom not naiveté

So cheer up, Dear friend, for life hasn't lost it's hues

Life is after all, a mélange of other colours and blues

To dream, to care, to move ahead,

To reclaim the smile, the song, the twinkle and be deep

Rather than being shallow instead

Dude! Simply amazing! Me and your V are simply awe struck here. Wonderful! Do us a favor, pass this along (or read it) to your 2nd set of parents too, they will admire it as well :)

It is so so so so so beautiful!!! And everything you said is so true! Every time transience sets , more unfavorably than you wish, I am sure this poem will do wonders to boost one's morale. It just did to me. Thanks a lot for writing this :)
